In this video, we go on a "tooth" adventure with Geena as she learns the four steps to taking care of her teeth. As you watch the video, listen for each one of those steps.
Step 1
Brush twice a day
Step 2
Floss every day
Step 3
Dental Checkups
Step 4
Eat healthy foods and limit snacking
These are questions we hear frequently from students in kindergarten and the answer is, whenever your new permanent teeth decide to erupt.
There is a general pattern that teeth follow so we have guidelines for when baby teeth erupt and when they should be falling out because the new permanent tooth is erupting.
Primary or Deciduous Teeth are also called "Baby Teeth" or "Milk Teeth" because they are whiter than permanent teeth and fall out before adulthood.
Permanent Teeth are also called "Adult Teeth" or "Forever Teeth" because they do not fall out or get replaced.
