This website is for RSD students and their families to provide educational information and materials on proper oral health. Teeth are very important and need to be taken care of every day to keep them healthy so we can be healthy.
Look for your grade level in the menu and feel free to checkout the other grade levels for more information about taking care of your teeth. There are videos, pictures, and downloadable coloring pages and activity sheets for fun. We will be updating the site often with more information so be sure to check back each week.

Dental hygienists typically work in dental offices and clinics, cleaning teeth and checking the mouth for signs of oral disease like gingivitis because our focus is on prevention and providing oral health education.
Like teachers, school dental hygienists are certified with the Department of Education. We provide dental health lessons in the classroom, mandated dental evaluations for state selected grade levels, and help families with finding a dentist. Our goal is for students to understand the importance of taking care of their teeth, so they stay healthy for a lifetime.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns about your child’s teeth.
