Our holiday break is quickly approaching, and we know that the next few weeks are going to fly by! Report cards will be coming out on December 6 and I encourage all of our Glendale families to participate in virtual parent/teacher interviews on December 9. Thank you for your partnership as we need and value your input and feedback.
A traditional concert is not possible again this year, but classes are still working on something special to present as our gift to you! Students will be practicing their songs for the next few weeks and then their classroom teacher will send parents and guardians a video link of the performance before the break.
We hope that you can join us for our first ever “Family Science Night” on December 7 from 7:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. The focus for the evening will be coding and sphero balls and students must be accompanied by a parent in order to participate. Our Vice Principal, Mr. Plackner, and our Science Lead Teacher, Mrs. Novak, have put together a fun night of creativity and discovery and we sure hope we see you there.
We sincerely hope that you have a restful and joyous holiday season. We encourage you to take the time to relax and spend quality time with your family. Students will return to classes on January 3. Please stay safe and healthy and if there is anything I, or the Glendale staff, can do to support your child, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Principal
Glendale Sciences and Technology school is proud of our commitment to provide our students with the best learning experiences in the categories of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.
This pursuit is primarily supported by investing in hands-on science activities, 1:1 chromebooks and cutting edge technological tools/activities (e.g. green screen, 3D printers, coding).
STEM activities are explicitly connected to Alberta Education's curriculum.
Due to COVID-19, we are unable to take part in any field studies at this time. We look forward to the day we are able to take our students to places that enrich their education.
The world is our classroom!
In order to ensure that our Gladiators are ready for whatever their future holds, we are committed to outfitting our students with the strongest A.R.M.O.U.R as possible. These attributes will be regularly taught, reinforced and recognized.
