Prove Them Wrong

When I was told I couldn’t, I was bound to show them I could

Set higher goals, reach for higher a purpose

Going for something beyond what you thought

God is believing in you

Don’t wish for it to be easier; Do something about it

Prove them wrong

Be what you believe in, and what you should be

Make your mark in this world, don’t be nervous

No matter who you are, everyone has fought

Being more than what you are

Just don’t say “I quit”

Prove them wrong

I have been afraid to slow down,

I have been afraid to speak,

And I have been afraid for my life.

Don’t make the mistake that I haven’t been to hell

Everyone tried to kill my dream and told me I can’t

I proved them wrong
