Book talk

The title of the book that I was reading with Than was The Vanishing Game by Kate Kay Myers. This book is in the fantasy genre, one of my favorite genres. The Vanishing Game is a book about a girl on a quest to find her brother who has been dead for many years, and leaves clues for her to find his hiding place. Along the way, she meets people from her past who sparks memories from her terrible past. I think that a continuous theme for this book is, “your past will never leave you.” This is a good theme for this book because Jocelyn throughout the book is faced with her past. My favorite part of the book is when Noah admits that he had feelings for Jocelyn in the past and then they kiss! I relate to the character Jocelyn because ever since her and her brother parted ways she had alway felt alone. I connected with Jocelyn because, when I was younger, I always felt all alone because I didn't have anyone to play with, that always made me feel all alone. I would recommend this book to kids from preteen- adults. This book is suitable for a person who loves adventure, romance, and the paranormal. In my fanfiction I changed my favorite scene of the book to what I would have wanted it to be. I hope you like it.
