El nostre professor va portar una bàscula, Nitrat en pols, una pipeta, un termometre de TDS i temperatura i un altre per a mesurar el PH. Ho va portat per així nosaltres calcular quant Nitrat (NO3) havíem de posar al aquari, ja que si ens passàvem els peixos podrien morir.
Vam estar una bona estona fins a trobar la quantitat exacta. Llavors, vam preparar una dissolució en la pipeta amb el NO3 i l'aigua destil·lada. Vam mesurar el PH, la temperatura i el TDS i vam comprovar que fossin les quantitats correctes. Finalment, ho vam afegir a l'aquari.
Today, our teacher brought a scale, Nitrate powder, a pipette and a termometer to measure the TDS, the temperature and the PH of the aquarium, so we could calculate how much nitrate (NO3) we had to add to the aquarium, because (like we have said before) if the fishtank has a lot of ammonia, the fish could die, so we have to add nitrate to make up for it, but if we put too much, they could die too.
It took a while for us to find the exact amount of it. Then, what we did was prepare a dissolution inside a beaker with nitrate and distilled water. We measured the PH, the temperature and the TDS and we checked that the quantity was correct. Lastly, we added the mixture to the aquarium.
