16/12/20:
Primerament, vam comprobar si els recipients dels que disponia l'institut ens servien. Vam omplir-los d'aigua per comprobar-ho. Mentre esperavem, vam fer la llista del que necesitavem i vam anar a comprar el següent:
Plantes: Musgo de java, rotala rotundifolia.
Animals: Planorbis cornea (cargols).
Materials: Terra, filtre, roques, tapa 39cm x 19cm, aquari, llum, termometre i calentador.
Finalment, ningún dels recipients inicials ens servien, ja que tots dos perdien aigua, i per això vam decidir incloure un aquari en bon estat.
First of all, we checked if we could use the school's equipment. We filled the aquariums with water and we waited. Meanwhile, we did the list of what we needed and we bought:
Plants: Musgo de java, rotala rotundifolia
Animals: Planorbis cornea (snails)
Materials: Sand, filter, rocks, aquarium, light, termometer and heater.
Finally, we couldn't use none of the aquariums of the school, because the water was leaking, so we decided to bring one in a good state.
18/12/20:
Aquest dia ja teniem tots el materials i plantes per montar l'aquari i vam començar omplint-lo amb la terra i possant les roques.
Més tard, vam plantar-ho tot i vam posar els Planorbis Cornea.
Finalment vam omplir-lo d'aigua i vam posar el filtre, el llum, el termometre i el calentador. Vam medir el TDS, la temperatura i el PH i vam comprobar que les condicions eren optimes. Vam haver de deixar-lo el cap de setmana per a que es netejés.
Elipsis: El dia 21, quan vam anar a recollir les notes, l'aquari amb l'ajuda del filtre ja estaba net.
This day, we had all the materials and plants to set up our aquarium. We started placing the sand and the rocks.
Then, we planted the plants and we put the Planorbis Cornea.
Finally, we filled it with water and we placed the filter, the light bulb, the termometer and the heater. We mesured the TDS, the temperature and the PH. We checked the parameters to see if they were the optimal. We left it all the weekend for it to clean itself.
Ellipsis: The 21s of December, when we went to pick up our marks, the aquarium was clean thanks to the filter.
