This is Riddle Block No. 1 right after its construction was completed in 1889. It originally had 8 shops on the ground floor, and the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors contained 22 offices, 9 apartments, 2 large meeting halls, and a ballroom with a stage and anteroom.*

This is present day 215 S. Chestnut St. Also known as Riddle Block No. 1. It currently has half as many shops/businesses as it did when it opened. The current tenants are Hometown Bank, Portage County Adult Probation, Don Basch Jewelers and Mark H. Heisa Attorney.
