Symphony Orchestra, Symphonic Band, 11th & 12th Grade Treble Choir: December 10 & June 3

Concert Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra, Concert Band: January 14

Winter Prism Concert: Symphony Orchestra, Jazz Band, Guitar Ensemble: February 3

SHS Spring Musical: March 15, 18, 19, 20

String Extravaganza: April 14; Band Bonanza: April 15

Concert Orchestra, Concert Band and Guitar Ensemble: May 20

Spring Prism Concert: Chamber Orchestra, Jazz Bands, Select Choir: June 7

All concerts begin at 7:30 pm in the SHS Auditorium. Students arrive by 6:30 pm. 

Concert Dress Options—Concert Black

What does that mean?

White or black dress shirt with tie, white or black blouse, black knee-length concert dress with short or long sleeves, black pants, black knee length or longer skirt, black shoes.

Optional black dress coat or sweater.

About the Director

Mr. Kincaid earned his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Ithaca College in 2001.  Upon graduating, he taught 4th and 5th grade band in the Dryden Central School District.  in 2005, he changed career paths and earned a Masters Of Social Work degree from Stony Brook University.  He worked as a psychotherapist for The Bridge, Inc., located in New Jersey, providing mental health and substance abuse counseling to adults and and families.  In 2010, he returned to teaching and worked for the Sullivan County BOCES, teaching a variety of music classes in the Monticello and Liberty School Districts.  In 2011, he joined the music department at Ramapo, teaching 4th and 5th grade band and orchestra at Sloatsburg and RP Connor Elementary Schools.  In 2015 he was given the amazing opportunity to join the music department at Suffern High School, directing the Concert Band, Jazz Band, and teaching Class Piano.
