2025 Suffern Holiday Parade

*THERE ARE NO BUSES FOR THIS EVENT*

SCHEDULE FOR THE PARADE:

DROP OFF AT 5:30 PM - Students will meet the teacher and trailer at the intersection of Hallett Pl, Wayne Ave and Orange Ave CLICK FOR THE EXACT LOCATION

6:30 PM - Parade Step Off (marching up Lafayette from the drop off location to the Gazebo)

7 PM - Approx. Pick Up (by parents) from the by the Community Center (across from Avon) on Washington Ave.

UNIFORM INFORMATION: 

NEW THIS YEAR: The FULL BAND will be wearing our new White and Navy Wind Breaker Jackets. These are LENT to you by the Band Parents (they are not the jackets you may have already purchased) - you should wear warm clothing underneath. Your pants and shoes should be warm. Additionally, you can add Holiday Decorations/Lights/etc. and can wear winter hats, holiday hats, or your SMB baseball cap. 

*Jackets have been distributed by the band parents, however, if you didn't receive one yet, you need to respond to the Google Classroom post from December 2nd, and a jacket will be brought to the parade for you.

2026 Sloatsburg Halloween Parade

Saturday, 10/24/26

4:15 PM Meet at the Mill Street Park (across from the Fire Department/behind Characters)

5 PM Step-off

6 PM Approx. dismissal from the Sloatsburg Community Fields (not the elementary school)

THERE ARE NO BUSES FOR THIS EVENT

All Middle Schoolers need to remember to take their instruments home on Friday before the parade

The TRAILER will be at the parade with the Flags, Drums, and any other Large Instruments

Students will be wearing costumes, or Suffern gear, but NO DRESS UNIFORM.

HAVE YOUR FLIP FOLDERS FILLED WITH STAND MUSIC.  WE WILL PLAY THAT AND ALL SHOW MUSIC.
