Music In Our Lives/Guitar is a general music course that explains the way music is integrated in society with a focus on guitar. Students must have or obtain a guitar. (Guitars are available from SHS for those in need.) Students will be expected to practice the guitar for a few minutes every day at home. There may be a concert or two required.  Students will also be given a few assignments each quarter such as a powerpoint or keynote presentation about a composer, performer or group. There will be some tests on playing the music we will work on in class. Class participation and cooperation will make up a large part of the grade.
