To gain this Standard you will need to produce TWO pieces of 'crafted and controlled' writing (min 400 words each).

One could be the proof-read and edited section of your Connections Essay and the other, one of your choosing (Creative, Poetry, Persuasive, Review)

Write to your strengths.

Try to use the ideas/links/crafting from the theme this year - this should make you more 'convincing' (Merit)

If you are confident you can write in your own style, however, remember you are graded on 'DEVELOPING AN IDEA' and CRAFTING of your language. This must be clear.
