The International Baccalaureate (IB) outlines a collaborative planning process for learning and teaching in the Primary Years Programme (PYP). Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP). Qridi Core supports this process and helps schools meet IB Standards & Practices requirements more easily. View the steps for using the Qridi Core PYP Planner below. (MYP and DP Planner information coming soon!)
Creating an IB Planner
Create your own PYP planner or view and import previously created planners from the Library.
View the Library video here for help selecting and importing planners.
To create a planner, write its name and choose a cover image.
Using the dropdown menu, designate the planner to one of the six PYP transdisciplinary themes. Alternatively, you can establish a stand alone unit.
Fill in the planner fields that are relevant to your context, using the helpful dropdown menus where available.
Note that the information option provides a summary of the PYP guidelines for each area. Concrete tips for implementation are also provided.
The Key Concepts, Related Concepts, Approaches to Learning, and Learner Profile Attribute fields have automatic functionality.
When items are selected from the dropdown menus, they appear in red. Once these items are used in connection to a learning outcome, they appear in green. This makes it easily possible to monitor planning and teaching progress and completion.
