Qridi provides an effortless way to perform regular formative evaluation of student learning. The Assessments function enables regular self-assessments, as well as peer, group, and teacher assessments. Guardians can also be asked to provide feedback on a learner’s progress.
NOTE: Assessments, Goals, Assessment Train, Journals and Quizzes are not an integrated part of the Qridi Core product. They work as stand-alone features that are available to Qridi Core users. The data accumulated in these features cannot be viewed in Qridi Core's 'Reflection section'.
To create new assessments, click the Add assessment button.
Click the Settings icon (⚙) to edit, copy and delete completed assessments.
Click the Answers button to view the learners’ responses to the assessment.
To assess learners from your own perspective, based on your selected assessment questions, click the Teacher’s assessment button.
Click the Add assessment button.
Select the assessment type.
Self assessment (Learners evaluate themselves.)
Peer assessment (Learners evaluate one or more of their peers and themselves.)
Group assessment (Learners evaluate the selected learner group as a whole.)
Teacher’s assessment (The option allows you to create an assessment template that can be used to evaluate learners in the future.)
Guardian’s assessment (Guardians evaluate their dependants. To respond to the assessment, a guardian will need a guardian’s account for Qridi Core.)
External assessment (for example, identified instructors can assess learners without a Qridi Core account.)
Name the assessment and set a validity period for it. If you want, you can type in instructions on the assessment for the learners.
Define how often learners can perform the evaluation.
Continuous assessment (Learners can perform the evaluation several times. You can define a suitable delay between responses.)
Repeating assessment (The assessment is opened at pre-defined intervals, for example, daily, weekly on a certain day or monthly. Having performed the assessment, a learner can carry out the assessment again once it is reactivated.)
Single assessment (Learners can perform the evaluation only once.)
Assessments in Qridi Core are always based on assessment units. Select which assessment units to use for this assessment.
First select the Assessment category (a theme for which you can select individual assessment units, i.e. assessment questions, for the assessment).
The Own tab features the assessment categories that are available to you personally. You can add new assessment categories by clicking Add new. The easiest way to create new assessment categories is to use the Qridi Core library (more detailed instructions).
The School’s tab contains the shared assessment categories available to your school or municipality. Administrative teachers can create new shared assessment categories for the school.
The Recommended tab features ready-made assessment categories that are available to everyone.
Once you have selected the assessment category, you can pick your desired Assessment units on the right by clicking the green (+) icons. The selected evaluation units will be displayed at the bottom of the view.
You can add multiple assessment units to the assessment from one or more assessment categories. You can remove selected assessment units by clicking the (-) icon. To change the order of the assessment units, grab the arrow icon to the left of the unit and move it up or down in the list.
Click Create! The assessment can be completed according to the set schedule.
Assessments are divided into active and future assessments and assessment history, based on their periods of validity.
Active assessments are currently available and visible.
Future assessments are not visible to the learner. The teacher can edit and view them.
Assessments in the history are no longer valid and cannot be performed by the learner. However, both the learner and teacher can still view them.
