You can set common goals and personal goals for individual learners in Qridi Core. Learners can also set goals for themselves. Learners can evaluate their progress towards their goals. Teachers and learners can monitor the learner’s progress in a visually inspiring view.
NOTE: Assessments, Goals, Assessment Train, Journals and Quizzes are not an integrated part of the Qridi Core product. They work as stand-alone features that are available to Qridi Core users. The data accumulated in these features cannot be viewed in Qridi Core's 'Reflection section'.

Creating a New Goal
Add goal
Click on the ‘Add goal’ button.
Select the method of reaching the goal.
Goal set by the teacher
With this method, you can create an identical goal for all learners. The learners assess their progress independently.
Learner’s own goal
As the teacher, you can set the framework for the goal that the learners set for themselves. The learners assess their progress independently.
Name the goal and enter a description. In the additional settings, you can set a validity period for the goal and allow learners to see the progress of other learners. The progress information is shown anonymously.
Goals can be created in three ways. Select the suitable method for reaching the goal.

Mountain I Levels
You can create three to five lower levels that correspond to the phase of progress towards the goal. You can add levels by clicking on the green ‘+’ button and remove levels by clicking on the red ‘–’ button. Learners can move their avatars from one level of the mountain to another when evaluating their progress.
Example: “I find solutions independently if I am unable to complete the relevant tasks immediately.”
Level 5: I can set goals for my learning based on my own knowledge and skills.
Level 4: I can solve the problems independently or together with others.
Level 3: I usually solve problems independently, or I am capable of asking others for help.
Level 2: I can practice the thing being learned with the help of an adult.
Level 1: I get discouraged if I cannot perform a new activity immediately. I do not want to learn difficult things.
Path I Procedures
You can add procedures that learners must complete in order to achieve their goals. Procedures consist of text and either a check box or a slider. Learners evaluate their progress by marking the check boxes of completed procedures or by using the slider.
Table I Subgoals
You can add smaller subgoals in text form under the actual goal. Teachers and learners can only view the subgoals.
Editing and Removing Goals
You can manage existing journals with the following actions
Editing and removing goals can be performed in a menu that can be opened by clicking this button.
You can view learner progress by clicking the name of a specific learner.
As with most other actions, separate goals for individual learners or smaller groups of learners can be created with the Learner groups action.
Usage as a Learner
Learners can view and enter goals in their own user interface by clicking the Goals button. Entries are visible to both the learner and the class teacher.
Active / Future / History
Goals are divided into active goals and goal history, based on their periods of validity.
Active goals are currently available and visible.
The validity of goals in the goal history has ended, and learners cannot use them anymore. Both the learner and teacher can view them.
