Welcome to my class website! I am a Social Studies teacher at Quigley Catholic High School. I currently teach World History 10, Honors World History 10, Government and Economics, and AP European History.

I’m originally from Saxonburg, PA in Butler County where I grew up with my 5 brothers and sister. During high school, I became involved in Civil Air Patrol, the auxiliary of the United States Air Force, as a cadet and have remained active in the organization for most of the last 20 years. After I graduated high school, I tried many things for a few years but ended up becoming an EMT. I’ve spent the last 10 years in the EMS field and during that time, I earned a Bachelor of Arts (History) degree from Slippery Rock University in 2011 and a Masters in Education in 2015, again from SRU.

Aside from my parents and siblings, I am married to my lovely wife Katie (also a teacher) whom I met when I started becoming a teacher. Katie are I were married a few years ago and we both have our dog, Bear (not a teacher), to keep us company.

All my classes utilize Google Classroom, in which notes, worksheets, assignments and other resources are posted and tracked electronically. Students will be provided with a class code so that they can align with the course. Students need to use their Quigley Catholic accounts to access the Google Classroom.

I highly encourage that students get into the habit of checking the Google Classroom site at least before and after school. Please be aware that there are mobile apps for both Apple and Android devices.

Parents and Guardians can receive email updates for their student's assignments and course announcements posted on Google Classroom.
