Testing

We run Pro Tools tests once every two months (about a week or two after the end of a block). You’ll be notified via e-mail about the exact date/time and how to sign up.

• Pro Tools Tests - you can repeat these as much as you want, up to 3 attempts. After that, AVID may wish to charge you for the exam attempts. I would recommend trying to stay up to date with the Pro Tools class you’re enrolled in so you’re not falling too far behind on the material being tested

Live certification is contingent upon being enrolled in Live 210 and will occur the last day of class. The teacher will go over all the requirements for taking and passing the test. Not everyone will be qualified to take this exam. The Instructor sets the requirement and sticks to it! If you’re failing, check with the Instructor before assuming you can take the test on the last day!
