COUNSELLING AND WELLBEING SUPPORT

Vision Valley staff have wellbeing and safety as their core focus. Staff are selected for their commitment to supporting students and seeking to get the best out of them. At all times there will be a Senior Residential staff on call (Deputy Head of Campus or Assistant Head of Residential Program). Core Residential Program staff have Youth Mental Health First Aid Training.

Should the need arise, students will be provided with the opportunity to meet with their school’s counselling team online or face to face if necessary. Any student who regularly sees a psychologist outside of their school may continue to do so during the program following consultation with the Vision Valley team.
