Welcome to the Wagner Friday Family Flyer! Each week, this flyer will come out with information about upcoming events, school information, wildcats of the week, campus highlights and more. There's also helpful links at the bottom. Go, Wildcats!
Each week teachers highlight one student in their class who is exemplifying one or more of the wildcat ways. Each student has their name announced and picture shown in our weekly video assembly, receives a certificate, gets a ticket for a free donut from Donut Chain (alternatives available if allergies!), and has their picture shared in the Wagner Friday Family Flyer. Let's hear it for these Wildcats of the Week!
We had another great attendance week! Thank you for bringing your children to Wagner! Can you believe on Tuesday we had only nine students absent on campus? That's almost all of our students here. Incredible!
Thank you to all of you who took the time to vote and special thank you to those of you willing to represent the parent voice on our School Site Council!

He's willing to listen, aske questions, speak up when needed, and work with parents and staff to help make our school the best it can be for our kids.
Help us keep back gate drop off and pick up safe. There's been an increase in cars stopping or parking in a way that blocks the crosswalk. Please help make sure that the area is safe for all everybody by following all parking rules - including keeping the crosswalk clear. Thank you!
Next week is expected to be very hot. Please make sure your students know to take off jackets, drink water, and make sure their water bottles are labeled. Thank you!
Our FREE family event - Trunk or Treat - is coming up on October 23rd. We're seeking bags of individually wrapped candy to hand out at the event. Please write your child's teacher's name on the bag. The class that brings in the most candy gets a prize!
Want to be even MORE involved? Consider running a trunk! You provide the game/activity and decor and the candy is donated. It's super fun and helps make a great event for the kids!
There will be a bin at the front gate every morning.
Thursday, October 8th! The Placentia Library District Bookmobile returns to Wagner. It will be in our front parking lot between preschool and the office from 2:15-3:45. You can even place holds for books with the library and they can bring them here!
See below for more info.
The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) has partnered with the Placentia Library District to bring the Bookmobile to select school sites throughout the school year. The Bookmobile provides students and families with convenient access to library services, books, and resources right in their school communities.
Bookmobile visits take place after school, and a parent or guardian must be present for students to participate.
View the full calendar of Bookmobile visits at the Placentia Library District Bookmobile webpage.

Thanks for the reading invite, TK!
I loved visiting Mrs. Lawrence's class and sharing one of my favorite things (books!) with some of my favorite people (students!). The students got to choose between The Book With No Pictures and Click, Clack, Moo. Click, Clack, Moo was the winner!
