Welcome to the Wagner Friday Family Flyer! Each week, this flyer will come out with information about upcoming events, school information, wildcats of the week, campus highlights and more. There's also helpful links at the bottom. Go, Wildcats!
Each week teachers highlight one student in their class who is exemplifying one or more of the wildcat ways. Each student has their name announced and picture shown in our weekly video assembly, receives a certificate, gets a ticket for a free donut from Donut Chain (alternatives available if allergies!), and has their picture shared in the Wagner Friday Family Flyer. Let's hear it for these Wildcats of the Week!
Placentia Library District Bookmobile Visits Wagner!
The Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) has partnered with the Placentia Library District to bring the Bookmobile to select school sites throughout the school year. The Bookmobile provides students and families with convenient access to library services, books, and resources right in their school communities.
Bookmobile visits take place after school, and a parent or guardian must be present for students to participate.
View the full calendar of Bookmobile visits at the Placentia Library District Bookmobile webpage.
All dates are subject to change.
Questions? Email bookmobile@placentialibrarydistrict.ca.gov.
Wagner will be one of these sites! The Bookmobile will visit us on the second Thursday of each month from 2:15 - 3:45. The bookmobile will be parked in our front parking lot between the preschool and the office! They'll be here NEXT Thursday on the 10th!
Parents, we need you! Our School Site Council is a group of parents, teachers, and other school staff that comes together each year to give feedback and input on school plans. We meet 4-5 times a year after school and virtual is an option!
Open to representing parent voices in our council team?
We'll have an election ballot go out via this flyer on September 18th to fill our spots.
Thank you and I'd love you have you!
Have you been to our annual Yogurland fundraiser? Then you know what an absolute blast it is!
Have you never been to our Yogurtland fundraiser? Well, you're in for a double treat - froyo and hanging out with this community that absolutely descends on Yogurtland.
Yogurtland is giving us 50% of the sales, so add an extra topping and tell them you're with Wagner!
My go-to is vanilla froyo with a mini brownie, hot fudge, a cherry, and almonds on top. Can't wait to see yours!

Each year, we host a PTA membership drive and ask that our families join the PTA. No time commitment needed, though we of course welcome the support! Plus, did you know being a PTA member gets you discounts at certain places?
the class with the most PTA memberships gets a Yogurtland party!

Mrs. Kiblinger's class is in the lead so far with Mrs. Gill's class close behind!
The difference between first place and 10th place is just 8 memberships, so every membership counts!
Students will participate in a morning assembly, classroom activities, and community building and service.
Please have your student wear red, white, and blue.
Board Member Marilyn Anderson Visits Wagner
Board Member Marilyn Anderson visited Wagner this week. We toured the campus and got to visit several classrooms. She saw our students engaging in their literacy blocks, tackling math, and diving into beginning music. She got to meet some of our wonderful students and staff and I'm grateful to get to show off our special little school!
