Criteria 4: Self Reflection
Criteria 4:
You will demonstrate this criteria in a variety of pathways such as an informal presentation, written reflections or via multimedia. This self-reflection will be informed by a pre and post self-evaluation.
Process:
After completing your project (criteria 3), create a multimedia presentation reflecting on your civic engagement project (ex: a video, screencast of slides, a website, narrated slideshow of images.)
Complete the SSCE Student Reflection Form, making sure to upload your multimedia project to the form.
Questions include:
Why did you choose this civic problem?
What inspired you? Why is it meaningful to you?
What actions/activities did you take on?
What did you learn about yourself through this process?
What did you learn about your community and how your actions can have a positive impact?
What would you consider doing differently or additionally to create deeper or more lasting change?
What would you consider doing differently or additionally to create deeper or more lasting change?
Would you be willing to serve as a mentor or resource for future students who are trying to earn their SSCE through a similar project? If so, please provide your personal email and/or phone number.

Teachers or mentors will provide virtual feedback on the reflections.
