A note from the parent/guardian is required for special requests. If we do not have a note from the parent/guardian, we will not be able to honor the request. Examples of when a parent note is required include the following:
For all absences, late arrivals and early dismissals as detailed in the Attendance Policy found in this handbook on pages 6-7.
Any change in dismissal plan.
Walking home from school, or walking to a friend’s house.
Being picked up by someone other than the custodial parent.
If the child is going to another child’s home. (In this case, notes should be sent by both parents to ensure both parties know what is going on.)
