All students are responsible for the care and upkeep of textbooks and instructional material issued to them during any session of the Pennsville Public School District. Students should be informed at the time of issuance that lost and damaged material will be assessed a fine at the end of an academic year.

Teachers are responsible to keep records of books issued or collected.

Fines are based on the book condition. A complete list of fines is listed below:

Lost or damaged beyond repair: the current replacement cost of the material

Damaged, but repairable hardcover: $5.00

Damaged, but repairable soft cover: $2.50
