Assembly on International Yoga Day
An assembly was conducted by Ms. Swengel Tapeli on 22nd June 2026 to commemorate International Yoga Day. She highlighted the significance of Yoga as an integral part of Indian Knowledge Systems (IKS) and its enduring relevance in promoting holistic well-being. The assembly focused on the role of yoga in nurturing physical health, mental well-being, concentration, and inner harmony. Students were encouraged to appreciate yoga as a valuable part of India’s rich knowledge heritage and to incorporate its practices into their daily lives.
Session on Yoga by Patanjali Yog Samiti
Pushpanjali College of Education, in collaboration with Patanjali Yog Samiti, conducted a Yoga session on 21st June 2025 on the occasion of International Yoga Day. Mr. Balvant Jain, along with his team from Patanjali Yog Samiti, served as the resource person for the session. The session began with an interactive discussion wherein Mr. Jain invited students to share the various physical and mental health challenges they experience in their daily lives. This was followed by a guided meditation, encouraging students to quieten their minds, attain inner peace, and become more mindful of their well-being. Mr. Balvant Jain and his team subsequently demonstrated various yoga asanas, explaining their significance and relevance to everyday health. The session emphasised the growing importance of incorporating yoga into daily life and helped students recognise its deep connection with India’s traditional roots and its age-old approach to maintaining health and well-being.
Assembly on International Yoga Day
Ms Sancia Colaco conducted a meaningful assembly on 21st June 2026, highlighting the importance of a balanced lifestyle and the importance of incorporating Yoga practice in our daily lives. The celebration was successful in promoting the message of “Healthy Body, Healthy Mind” and encouraging everyone to make yoga a part of their daily routine.
