Value-Added Course on E-content Development:
Value-Added course on E-content Devlopment was conducted from 1st-5th January and 13th January 2026, conducted by Ms. Sanika Asolkar. The course introduced participants to digital tools such as MS Word, MSPowerpoint, Canva, Gitmind, Educaplay, Kahoot and Conker, including useful Canva features for teachers. Students were also introduced to DIKSHA and CIET for accessing engaging digital learning content.
Value-Added Course on Apps in Education:
Value-Added course on Apps in Education was conducted on 31st January and 11th, 13th,23rd and 24th February 2026, conducted by Ms. Sonia Bombacha. The course introduced the students to various educational applications inckuding crossword Labs, MagicSchool AI, Wordwall, StoryJumper, Curipod, Duolingo, and Class Tools,net, enabling them to explore innovative and engaging ways of integrating technology into teaching-learning process.
Value-Added Course on Communication Skills:
Value-Added Course on Communication Skills was conducted through sessions on Public Speaking and Effective Communication by Sr. Delicia Fernandes on 2nd and 10th March 2026, and Written communication by Ms. Steffi Colaco on 16th and 17th January 2026. The sessions focused on developing students confidence, effective speaking skills and written communication abilities, equipping them with essential skills for academic and professional contexts.
7 day Yoga Value Added Course:
Pushpanjali College of Education in collaboration with Shri Ambika Yogasharm, Vasai (W) organized a 7 day Yoga Course with intensive focus on Yoga as a vital component of IKS- 22nd June -1st July 2026 .

Value added Course on E Content development:
The course was held from 3rd October -23rd Dec 2024. Students of SYBEd were resource persons for sessions on creating E books, Padlet, Video editing, Wordwall for evaluation, use of E discussion Boards, use of Canva for art work and Kahoot for quizzes. Dr Agnes Dcosta conducted the course.
Value Added Course on Apps in Education:
The course was held from 3rd Jan-16th Jan 2025. Students of FYBEd were the participants. The content included AI Tools, Creating Mindmaps, Creating Crosswords with Crossword Labs, Exploring OERs through DIKSHA, Exploring Virtual laboratory Olabs, Creating Educational games with Educaplay, Classtools.net and Creating interactive worksheets on Worksheetzone.org. Dr. Agnes Dcosta and Ms. Sonia Bombacha conducted the course.
Value Added Course on Mental Health of Secondary School Students:
Ms Sanika Asolkar effectively conducted the course. It was held in Blended Mode from 15th April to 31st July 2025. Students accessed modules related to different aspects of mental health of adolescents. These modules were prepared based on Manodarpan, an initiative of Ministry of India under the Atma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan. Canvas.instructure was used as the LMS to share resource material in form of videos, pdfs, discussion exercises and quizzes.
Value Added Course on Communication Skills:
Sr Delicia Fernandes and Ms Steffi Colaco conducted a course on Communication Skills. The course aimed at improve listening, public speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills while fostering confidence in diverse communication scenarios. The activities focused on developing clarity, tone, and articulation in speech, effective use of body language, gestures, and facial expressions and structuring written communication through emails, reports, and other professional documents like one’s resume. Dr Cerena Dcunha, Associate Professor at St Teresa’s College of Education conducted a course from17th March- 9th April 2025 on English Grammer Pro-Beginners to Advanced.
MOOC on IKS:
Sonia Bombacha successfully conducted a value-added course on Indian Knowledge systems online via Canva platform from 3rd February 2025 -22nd February 2025. The course was structured into four comprehensive modules, each comprising of informative videos, detailed articles, and a quiz at the end of the module. The course aimed at enriching the participants understanding of India’s rich and diverse traditional knowledge systems. Upon completion of the course, all participants attempted the final quiz. The students were awarded certificates, acknowledging their successful participation and understanding of the subject.
