Seminar on Financial Literacy

The team from Growvest- Private Investment Company and Sundaram Mutual funds conducted a session on 25th August 2025 on the topic "Financial Awareness" and how to manage funds. Mr. Ritesh Patel representing the company, highlighted on the role of aware and independent working individuals in shaping the global financial economy. The session aimed at creating awareness among the students.

Session on Yoga

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, Patanjali Yog Samita conducted a yoga session on 21st June 2025 for our students. The day started with morning meditation followed by breathing exercises and asanas. Mr Balvant Jain served as the resource person for the session. He highlighted the importance of yoga as a precious gift of our rich culture and the need to nurture it. The session aimed at creating awareness about physical health and the benefits of yoga. 

Session on  Creating a LinkedIn Profile

Mr. Gavin Dsouza, Science Educator at a reputed institution conducted a session on 11th April 2025  for the students who are in the process of searching for job opportunities. She guided them on to construct an effective CV and build connections and networking through LinkedIn. Her inputs were helpful and valuable to the students. 

Panel Discussion on different boards of School Education

Orientation sessions was conducted on 5th and 8th May 2025 to familiarize students with the functioning of various Boards of School Education. 

The resource persons for the sessions were Ms. Sophie Dabreo- Principal at Issac Newton Global School, CBSE, Vasai (W)

Ms. Natasha Punnose -English and Literature Teacher at CNS High School, IGCSE Mumbai 

Ms. Calista Dmello- Math Teacher at Singapore International School. IGCSE, Mumbai (Session held online)

Ms. Tracy D'souza- Math Teacher at St. Xavier's English High School, ICSE  Vasai (W)

The students were introduced to the curriculum, assessment procedures, and distinctive features of CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE, and IB board of Education. The sessions highlighted the key characteristics and academic approaches of each board, providing students with a clear understanding of their respective systems and methods of assessment. 

Session on Bridging borders and shaping futures through Global Perspectives

Ms. Sophiya Gonsalves conducted a session on 22nd March 2026 on the topic" Understanding Global Perspectives" for our students, She highlighted on the importance of having global perspectives in school curriculum as it helps in developing universal understanding and much aware and holistic individuals. 

Workshop on Charged Classroom and visit to National English High School, Virar (E)

The students visited National English High School for a school tour on 11th March 2025. Ms. Gaurangini Kulkarni, Co-ordinator at NEHS ICSE, guided the students throughout the tour giving insights into the various resources displayed across the school corridors. She conducted a session on charged classrooms for the students providing strategies to integrate game based learning into classrooms.

Workshop on Hands on Artistry

Ms. Sarah Colaco, currently working with GD Somani Memorial School, Mumbai conducted a workshop on Art and Craft for our students. She guided the students on how to make paper flowers and dream catchers. The session was practical and engaging for the students. 

Session on-From Awareness to Action: Empowering Change for the Environment

Mr. Lisbon Ferrao, an environmental enthusiast, conducted a session on 30th January 2026 creating a change for a better tomorrow. He emphasized on keeping the environment clean to maintain a healthy ecological balance. He urged to students to join his movement to clean and create a better living place for all.

Navigating Mental Health for preservice teachers 

Ms. Olivia Almeida, a counsellor and psychologist by profession conducted a session on 25th January 2025  on navigating mental health issues for pre-service teachers. The session was practical wherein she conducted a pre-test idtenfying factors causing stress and thus providing remedial solutions for the same. It was an engaging experience for the students. 

Session on Brain- Based Teaching strategies

Mr Willibrord George conducted a session for our students and teachers from reputed organizations. The workshop focused on integrating AI in classrooms to make teaching-learning more impactful. Mr Willibrord gave hands on practical experience to all the participants. He shared resources with all the participants which will be helpful for their classes. Overall it was an engaging and enriching session. 

Workshop on Communicate with Confidence

Ms. Renuka Pillai, Vice Principal at Isaac Newton Global School, conducted a session on communication skills for the students. Effective blend of appropriate language and mannerisms is the key for efficient communication. She provided strategies for our students on how to make communication impactful as teachers.
