Street Play Workshops

A workshop on the Presentation of Street Play was organized on 8th February 2025.  Shri Juran Lopes and Shri Maxwell Rose served as resource persons for the same. The workshop aimed to acquaint students with the creative and impactful use of street play as a medium of communication and social awareness.

The resource persons introduced the students to various aspects of street play, including effective presentation techniques, voice modulation, expressions, body language, teamwork, and engaging the audience. Emphasis was placed on the power of street theatre to communicate meaningful messages, raise awareness about social issues, and inspire individuals and communities towards positive change.

The students participated actively and enthusiastically throughout the workshop. The hands-on nature of the session provided them with an opportunity to explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop their skills in performance and communication. The workshop was an enriching experience that enabled students to understand how street play can serve as a powerful tool for spreading social awareness, encouraging dialogue, and initiating meaningful social transformation.
