CDC

Background:

Last year in February, I was sent to a two day training hosted by the CDC to help teach students about diseases, outbreaks, herd immunity, testing and surveillance, hearing loss, and classification of diseases. A week after this training, the school closed due to COVID-19.

We, as a class, are going to learn about the classifications of diseases, about why they spread, how we can prevent them, and other tasks.

What is the CDC?

We know then, that the CDC is designed to help people, both American's as well as people around the world. Their mission is to help eradicate diseases, and their staff puts themselves at risk daily to protect everyone else.
