Eligible employees receive a predetermined number of complementary passes that may be exchanged for a free lift ticket. Company policy specifically prohibits the sale of buddy passes. Abuse of the buddy pass program may result in loss of buddy passes and/or termination. Buddy Passes are NOT transferable from Season to Season.
Option 1: Online Passholder Portal
Log in to the portal using your employee pass information and this will allow you to email the buddy pass discount code directly to your guest. Guests must complete the instructions provided in the email with the link that they receive to retrieve a confirmation email for the ticket(s). The confirmation email will show a confirmation number and QR code that will allow them to get their tickets at the Ticket Office / Window.
Note: each guest must receive an individual link and go through the process one at a time.
Once you've logged into the portal with your pass information, from the top row, select My Season Pass > Discounted Lift Tickets > Get My Tickets and enter in the email address of your buddy pass recipient.
Option 2: In Person at the Ticket Office
Employees can bring their guest(s) to the ticket office on the day they would like the buddy pass or you may stop by the ticket office before hand with the information of your guest, this way its ready for them when they arrive and don't need you present for the pick up. Employees must have their employee pass with them in order to redeem and/or reserve the buddy pass.
Notes:
If an employee has not picked up their employee pass, buddy passes cannot be issued.
If an employee calls the ticket office for buddy passes, we will encourage them to go to the Passholder Portal.
If a guest says that the employee left passes for them and we do not have documentation, we will not issue buddy passes without the employee's authorization.
Once a buddy pass is printed and issued, we are not able to add it back to your account if it is not used.
All active employees are eligible for a 20% discount on the purchase of an annual, six month, or three month Durango Community Recreation Center or Chapman Hill Annual Ski Pass.

The HomesFund, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, is a certified Community Development Financial Institute and a HUD approved housing counseling agency. The HomesFund receives funding to administer a variety of homeownership programs on behalf of the local jurisdictions including the Fair Share Program for the City of Durango and the Durango Mountain Resort program for La Plata County.

Program Rules
Employee Referral Bonus Program
All Purgatory employees are eligible to participate in the referral bonus program.
For all seasonal positions, Purgatory will pay a $200 bonus for each referred employee who meets the following criteria:
The referring employee’s name must be included on the candidate's application or mentioned during the interview, and verified by the hiring manager.
The candidate must be a New Hire
Completes 112 total hours of work (70 hours for Ski & Ride School or Bike School),
Finishes the season in good standing.
For all year-round positions, Purgatory will pay a $500 bonus for each referred employee who meets the following criteria:
The referring employee’s name must be included on the candidate's application or mentioned during the interview, and verified by the hiring manager.
The candidate must be a New Hire
Completes at least 90 days of employment,
Is in good standing with their department.
The referring employee must be active in the system at the time the referred employee starts.
If the referring employee is seasonal, they must also work 112 hours (or 70 hours for Ski & Ride School/Bike School) and complete the season in good standing.
If the referring employee is year-round, they must be in good standing with their department. If they are no longer active, HR will determine bonus eligibility.
Family members are not eligible for referral bonuses.
Hiring managers or supervisors may not receive a referral bonus for any position they directly hire for or any department they oversee.
If multiple employees are listed as referring sources, the bonus will be split evenly among them.
Action Required: To receive the referral bonus, the referring employee must notify HR via email or completing the Referral Bonus Request Form.

Carpooling is a great way to save money, reduce commuting stress, and support sustainability. While the Purgatory Carpool App is in development, we are currently using paper forms to track participation.
How it works:
Carpool forms are available in the HR Office or linked below.
Drivers must be properly registered to receive compensation.
For Drivers:
Complete the Driver Registration Google Form to be eligible for payment.
Fill out the Carpool Log for each pay period with passenger names and dates driven.
The driver must complete and submit the carpool log to the HR Office before the end of the pay period so it can be processed through payroll.
Compensation:
Driver compensation is added to your paycheck and is based on miles driven and current gas prices.
Passengers will receive funds added to their employee pass.
