Medical Biller: Handles payments and financial transactions between healthcare providers and patients. Manages systems for mailing bills and collecting and recording payments. Works in healthcare facilities and hospitals. 

Medical Coder: Organizes and reviews patient medical records and assigns codes for each diagnosis and treatment. Prepares coded information for use by health care insurers or for research. May retrieve information for clinicians and billing offices. Works in healthcare facilities. 

Medical Records Clerk: Compiles, processes, and maintains medical records of hospital and clinic patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system. 

Billing Clerk or Specialist: Prepares and checks information included on a customer bill or invoice. Assembles and itemizes information on products or services purchased, and verifies amounts including any tax owed.
