General and Operations Managers: Plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of public or private sector organizations, overseeing multiple departments or locations. Duties and responsibilities include formulating policies, managing daily operations, and planning the use of materials and human resources, but are too diverse and general in nature to be classified in any one functional area of management or administration, such as personnel, purchasing, or administrative services. Usually manage through subordinate supervisors.
Marketing Manager: A Marketing Manager manages and coordinates marketing activities for a company. Oversees marketing and advertising staff. Monitors demand for company products or services, business and industry competition, and prices. Identifies potential new customers; develops strategies for increasing sales or market share.
Market Research Analyst: A Market Research Analyst researches and develops targeted marketing strategies for a company. Gathers customer feedback, analyzes industry and market data, monitors marketing trends; advises on marketing and advertising plans.
Public Relations Specialists: Promote or create an intended public image for individuals, groups, or organizations. May write or select material for release to various communications media.
Marketing Specialist: A Marketing Specialist develops marketing plans and strategies for businesses. Researches consumer demand and industry market data, provides specialized information on advertising and promotional resources.
