Our Scouts wear the official Class A uniform—also known as the field uniform—during pack meetings, ceremonies, and other formal Scouting events. It includes the Cub Scout shirt, neckerchief, slide, and appropriate insignia that represent each Scout’s achievements, rank, and participation.
Class B uniforms are typically worn during informal or active events where the full Class A uniform (button-up shirt, neckerchief, etc.) isn’t necessary or practical. These should be worn at den meetings.
Wearing the uniform helps build a sense of belonging, pride, and responsibility. It’s a visible reminder that each Scout is part of something bigger than themselves. Proper placement of patches and badges is important—it shows respect for the program and the accomplishments they represent.
