Offer of scholarship to South East Asia Students
The Faculty of Traditional Thai Medicine, Prince of Songkla University (PSU), Thailand, invites nationals of South East Asia to apply for academic year 2012. The scholarship will be granted to students to study in Thailand in the undergraduate program.
The scholarship will be granted to the applicants who meet acceptance criteria outlined below. The scholarship will include tuition fees, living allowances, and accommodation.
ELIGIBILITY
Eligible applicants must satisfy the following criteria :
Hold a High School Certificate or a qualification equivalent to Grade 12 Certificate
Proficiency in Thai and English
Maximum age: 25 years (calculated up to October 1st, 2012)
Be of good health physically and mentally
DURATION OF SCHOLARSHIPS
Four academic years (2012– 2015) ** The PSU academic year has two semesters: June to October and November to March.
SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS
Monthly living allowance: US$ 234 (7,000 Baht)
Monthly housing allowance: US$ 100 (3,000 Baht)
Visa fees: US$ 97 (2,900 Baht) per academic year
Health Insurance: US$ 10 (300 Baht) per academic year
Miscellaneous expenses according to the field of study: US$ 134 (4,000 Baht) per academic year.
** The scholarship students must be responsible for their own travel expenses from their home to PSU.
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR APPLICATION
Original copy of the Application Form with passport sized photographs taken not more than six months from the deadline of application.
A certified copy of high school certificate
A certified copy of transcript of records for high school study with grades and grade point average in English
