28 January 2026 - International students from Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar and Nigeria joined with Thai students the 7th Home@Science event held as MasterChef Edition at the Faculty of Science Canteen.
The event aimed to strengthen intercultural engagement and foster a welcoming academic community through the shared experience of Thai gastronomy. The participants cooked in a team-based competition famous dishes such as Pad Kra Pao Gai (stir-fried chicken with basil), Tom Yum Kung, and the local dessert Khanom Kho.
Throughout the activity, teams collaborated during the cooking process and presented their dishes to a panel of judges.
Participants shared much laughter and created lasting memories while connecting, learning, and strengthening the science community through a celebration of culture and gastronomy in Songkhla.
