This course uses, builds up, and capitalizes on the historical, political, and economic learning from the previous five Social Science subjects. It focuses on the practical application of Social Science disciplines to promote active citizenship, advocacy and community involvement.
This course will develop an understanding of the different social issues using a systems perspectives contextualized in the Philippine setting with the goal of enhancing the student’s problem solving and critical thinking skills and preparing them for appropriate community involvement and participation, whether online or face-to-face.
