No. We will do our best to accommodate your top choices as entered in the Preference Form. Think about your choices carefully 

We do not allow submission of a new response. There is a reminder in the form to double check your answers. 

In case of a valid reason, file a request  and send it to mcmbartolay@pshs.edu.ph. Also inform your parent and adviser regarding the request.

Consult 1-2 teachers (adviser/current teachers/SYP teachers).

Check the university track of the subject if it is related to your courses/careers of interest. Use the reflection guide to help you decide.

You can take any Level 1 subject in Grade 11. 

For Level 2, check the acceptance requirements of the subject. Note that you have to take at least one Level 2 subject during SYP. 

Check on the differences between Level 1 and Level 2 of the subject to help you decide.

You cannot take Level 2 of a subject if you took its Level 1 equivalent in Grade 11.

Excellence Awards require completion of Level 2 subjects.

Check the acceptance requirements of the subject.

Physics take exam scores or final grades into consideration for acceptance into Level 2 courses. 

This is subject to approval of your research teacher. Please contact the research teacher.

A G11 student may shift to a different Science Core two weeks after enlisting due to valid reasons (illness, inability to cope with assessment tasks, projected difficulty in sustaining performance). Please inform your ASA and Instruction Officer.

A G12 student may NOT shift to a different Science Core for any reason. You may only switch from Level 2 to Level 1.

For G12 students, you may only go from Level 2 to Level 1 (step down) and not the other way around.
