Meet Ms. Smit

A little about me, Samantha Smit

I am thrilled to begin my 1st year as a 3rd grade teacher at Timnath Elementary! This will be my 7th year in education, most recently as a 5th grade teacher in Loveland. 

My two home bases are Montana and The Netherlands. I grew up in both places and am a dual citizen and speak Dutch fluently. I am a proud aunt. Outside of teaching you will find me enjoying time with friends on the lake, trying new restaurants, or going to live music events. 

Teaching is truly my passion and I am so privileged to be your students teacher. In our classroom we all work as a team, learn from one another, expand our own thinking and have fun in the process. My goal is to instill a life long love of learning.
