Meet Mrs. Rayls

A little about me, Bethany Rayls…

      I am excited to begin my second year teaching third grade at Timnath Elementary! I have been a part of educating elementary students for the past 24 years and am thrilled to continue working with students at Timnath during the '25-'26 school year. Prior to coming to Timnath, I taught 5th graders at Bethke Elementary, technology at Kruse Elementary in Fort Collins, and 5th graders in Riverside, California! I graduated from California Baptist University in 2000 and completed my Master of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education in 2015.

      My husband, Ben, and I both grew up in Southern California but fell in love with the Fort Collins area and moved to Colorado in 2007. We love enjoying the beautiful outdoors and the community here in Northern Colorado. We just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in May! We do not have any children of our own unless you count our many 'furry' and 'feathery' ones: We have 2 fluffy dogs, many hens, two sweet roosters, and four cats! I enjoy spending time with my animals, family, and friends. I also really enjoy camping, golfing, gardening, cooking, reading, and doing anything artsy, crafty, or creative.

       Teaching is a passion of mine, and I feel so blessed to be able to spend time with kids every day! Any day with kids is always a great day. 😊 I am anticipating a fantastic 2025-26 school year, and I look forward to learning each day alongside my students!
