🐾3rd Grade News- Friday, May 22nd
Dear Third Grade Families,
Oh my—this year truly flew by! What an exciting end to our 3rd grade journey. From our PSA Poster Fair to trying out 4th grade math, it has been a week full of celebrating all our learning. We even wrapped up our writing unit with selected pieces performed during our Story Baker’s assembly on Wednesday!
Yearbooks were distributed and sent home yesterday, so be sure to take a look! Students also enjoyed a fun grade-level yearbook signing time with their peers..
As we continue celebrating growth, please keep an eye out for DIBELS and MAP testing reports coming home in Friday Folders TODAY. In addition, second semester report cards will be available in ParentVue on Wednesday, May 27 by 4:00 PM. We encourage you to review grades and comments with your child to reflect on their progress and set goals as they look ahead to 4th grade.
Looking toward our final week, a friendly reminder that next Tuesday is our walk to the Timnath Post Office. Students are excited to mail their friendly letters home—watch for them to arrive in your mailboxes soon!
As this is our final newsletter of the year, we want to extend our heartfelt thanks for your communication, support, and partnership throughout your child’s 3rd grade year. It has truly been a wonderful journey. We are incredibly proud of all our students have accomplished and wish them the very best as they head into 4th grade.
