Blevins Middle School Counseling
Hello, and welcome to the Blevins Middle School Counseling page. We are here to support you and your child.
Counselors support the social and emotional well being of all students. Middle School is hard, so we make it our mission every day to build strong relationships and provide a safe space for students to get the support they need.
Counselors also manage 504 plans, oversee ICAP education and development, manage schedules, and are active members of the MTSS (multi-tiered systems of support) team. Each counselor manages a grade level in addition to other roles in the building.

Hello Bruins! I am from Colorado, specifically from Aurora down in the Denver area. I had a brief stint as a Knight at the University of Central Florida, then promptly moved up to Fort Collins to be a CSU Ram. I've worked in education since 2014, teaching English to high schoolers in Cheyenne then moved into my current role in counseling. In addition to being the 8th grade counselor, I also provide education and intervention surrounding substance use and abuse. When I'm not at work, you can find me spending time with my husband and three cats. I love cooking, music, restoring furniture, traveling, and Harry Potter.

Hello Bruins! I grew in Northern Virginia just outside of Washington D.C. I spent my middle and high school years being actively involved in my school and community theater, and spent my summers as a camp counselor in the blue ridge mountains. I attended Ohio University and earned my B.S in TV & Film production with a minor in International Studies. After I graduated I was hired at National Geographic as a producer and spent many years traveling around and doing lots of fun things with TV and film. After a while I realized I missed working with kids, so I decided to go back to school and earn my masters in counseling. I graduated from CSU with a Masters in School Counseling in 2018 and have called Blevins home ever since. At any given moment, I have an obscure Broadway musical stuck in my head and am probably in the process of re-reading Harry Potter for the umpteenth time. I love cooking, hiking, traveling and spending time with my husband, my newborn son, and my cat, Zamboni.

Hello bruins! I grew up in New York about 60 miles north of New York City. I attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where I earned a B.A. in Sociology and minored in Anthropology. After I graduated, I moved to Athens, Georgia and worked as a Community Social Worker for a little over 2 years before being accepted into the Professional School Counseling program at the University of Georgia (Go Dawgs!). Once I competed my degree in May 2009, I moved to Fort Collins with my now husband. We now have 3 kids and love living in Fort Collins! I worked at Jefferson High School in Greeley for 6 years and started at Blevins in August 2017. I love being a part of this amazing community and family!
