Therefore, it is necessary to look back at the history of Philippine art to understand how it evolved throughout the different periods that led to the art known today. The subject Contemporary Arts in the Philippine Regions aims to aid the students in understanding the significance of arts coming from the different regions of their home country. It proudly features the creative works of the Grade 12 students summarizing the topics that they have learned. This subject intends to educate the purpose of contemporary art and what makes it personal by making the students be a part of the art and fully experience it while also showcasing the works of the senior high school students about the subject.

Website Creation
Appropriation in art refers to the practice of the artists using pre-existing objects or images in their art with little to no transformation of the original. Appropriation art raises questions of originality, authenticity, and authorship and belongs to the long modernist tradition of art that questions the nature of the definition of art itself.
