Opening a NYC Schools Account is the first step towards becoming more involved in your student's education. Receive updates via text messages or email about school closures, emergencies, and upcoming events. Link your students and start monitoring things like grades, test scores, attendance.

NYCSA Mobile Application: Parents/guardians who have an active NYCSA account can access their child’s grades, assignments, and attendance using the NYCSA mobile application that can be downloaded on iOS and Android devices.

The DOE provides free Microsoft software to students and families. Much of this software has education-specific content that supports our students’ academic improvement. In addition, familiarity with these tools will help prepare students for college and careers. 

Students can go to https://portal.office.com (Open external link)

Sign in with their DOE credentials, and click on the Install Office button to install the software.

If students need help logging in, they should go to the password reset tool (Open external link) for students, where they’ll need to enter their OSIS number and Date of Birth (DOB) to reset their passwords.
