You can remove privileges on the fly
Chat only host
Chat everyone
No one can chat
Participants can or cannot unmute themselves
Participants can or cannot annotate the shared screen
Participants can or cannot share their screen
Make someone co-host, give someone else full host privileges
Option to assign your co-teachers and/or para's to co-host in the meeting setup
Additional Tips:
After October 16, 2020 you will no longer be able to use a personalized Zoom room link for meetings. For security reasons, all meetings must be scheduled individually with the proper settings.
Now that personal meeting rooms have been disabled, you can set a recurring meeting with no fixed recurring time and just use that repeatedly
Students don't have access to Zoom because they are not logged in to their student accounts:
Log out of Zoom
Select SSO (Looks different for laptop vs. iPad)
Type NYCDOE if it is not already there.
Log into the NYC screen with username (without @nycstudents.net)
How to enable an audio notification when a student enters your Zoom and the participation screen isn't up:
While in a meeting, click on "Participants", then the "..." icon, then check play sound. There's no way to have this on by default so hosts must remember to do it every time.
