Yoga

  • Yoga is a different form of exercise that works on the two fitness components: muscular endurance and flexibility!
  • Our muscles are like rubber bands. We want to keep them stretching and actively moving them to keep the muscle healthy. If we do not stretch, we open ourselves up to muscle pulls and micro tears! When in doubt... stretch it out!

DRUMS ALIVE

  • This is a newer program in Physical Education classes.
  • We are using an exercise ball with pool noodles for our sticks to drum with.
  • This exercise combines rhythms and cardiovascular fitness to produce an amazing workout.
  • For adults in gyms, you could take a pound class and it is very similar to drums alive.
