Welcome to an exciting school year in health class. Students at Kellar Middle School will improve their knowledge and awareness in many areas of health. These areas include the physical, mental, family, and social aspects of health. Our health education program motivates students to improve and maintain their health, prevent disease, and reduce risky behaviors. Our program also builds students’ knowledge, skills, and gives them a positive attitude about their overall health.

Students are expected to follow ALL school rules and classroom expectations. Please be aware that respecting yourself, your teachers/staff, and classmates are a MUST!
Bell work will be posted on Google Slides. We will discuss the bell work question in the first 5-7 minutes of virtual class.
Students will receive some homework assignments. Most homework given will be the class work that was NOT finished in because of time restraints.
Quizzes will be given once a week. I will also calculate tests/quizzes points based on preparation and participation. Those students who are constantly tardy, missing their health supplies, and have a consistent pattern of inappropriate behavior will lose points.

89%-80% = B
79%-70%= C

Students will always follow the Kellar Virtual School rules posted in the google classroom.
