We use Google API that will calculate the distance travelled between your first scheduled dealership and each stop until you have reached your last scheduled dealership, much like you would if you were searching for directions to/from another destination. If dealerships are 400 meters or closer together, we assume you have parked and are walking, so mileage does not apply.
To trigger the stop, there must be a completed/billed action at the location to trigger the calculation. You should complete all uploads PRIOR to uploading at your next location to ensure accurate calculations. Uploading at the end of the day or after you clock out will NOT trigger a mileage calculation. If you find that you have failed to upload an image and that was the only upload for that location, please be sure to send that request to time@promotionpix.com for review.
IMPORTANT: IF you walk a lot that has nothing available to upload, you should ensure that all status updates are complete and then click on the "Nothing Available to Photograph" icon and this will tentatively submit the location for review/approval. This should be done while still at the location as well.
You will see the calculated miles at the end of the day during your clock-out process. If you notice anything that looks off to you, please email time@promotionpix.com for review.
If your mileage was not captured via the app, you can request mileage reimbursement by using the Expense Form.
