It reviews expectations and procedures for personal safety, first aid response, bite and incident reporting, and the use of Fear Free and low-stress handling techniques.

Both community pet clinics and street vet work present unique variables, and recognizing when to pause, modify an approach, or stop an interaction is critical. This module emphasizes proactive risk assessment, clear communication, and team coordination to ensure safe, respectful care while prioritizing the wellbeing of both the PSV team and the animals we serve.
