Welcome to the Project Street Vet team, and thank you for volunteering your time, expertise, and compassion to support the pet families we serve. Your medical skills play a critical role in providing safe, ethical, and effective care in the communities where we work.

This training portal will guide you through the essential information needed to volunteer as a Project Street Vet (PSV) veterinarian, including our medical protocols, available supplies, clinic and street outreach workflows, field safety considerations, and how to use our medical records system. It is designed to help you feel prepared, supported, and aligned with PSV’s approach to care before stepping into the field.

It is important to our team that you complete this prior to joining any volunteer opportunity with Project Street Vet. If you have any questions or issues with this training, please email liz@projectstreetvet.org.

Before you begin:
• Expect 20–30 minutes to complete all training modules.
• Please watch each video and review each guide carefully.
• When finished, you will complete an upload of your veterinary license and liability insurance and the brief 15 question assessment reviewing the course content.

Assessment answers will be automatically saved to PSV's Volunteer system and reviewed by staff. We do require proof of assessment completion prior to volunteers joining any opportunity.

Again, we thank you for your time and belief in this work!
