Copyright Free Sound Resources
There are a host of sound recordings and sound effects websites that are very useful in the classroom for sourcing sound to include in digital story projects. Below are some of the ones I personally like to use.
Youtube Audio Library (Website)
Youtube have a large bank of copyright free music and sound effects that are easily downloadable and make a great addition to any digital story. You can choose to search the 'Free music' or 'sound effects' libraries. Once you have found the perfect song/sound effect, click on the download symbol and it'll download directly onto your own device. You can upload it from here to your project. Note: You will need to sign in with your YouTube account details to access this resource.

Bensound (Website)
Bensound has a widespread choice of interesting copyright free music that is ideal to use in your multimedia project (online videos, short films, animations, etc). Tracks download as Mp3 files onto your desktop for easy usage. If using music from this library you must credit Bensound as the source (eg. Music: 'Song Title' from Bensound.com). Note: You must pay to use the track if you are creating an audio only project (eg. audio book, podcast).

BBC: Sound Effects (Website)
The BBC have recently made over 16,000 of their copyrighted sound effects available for personal, education and/or research use on their website. This is a fantastic resource for anyone (teachers and/or pupils included) looking for high quality sound effects to add to their projects. Each file downloads in 'wav' format.

SoundBible: Sound Effects (Website)
SoundBible is a very popular free repository of sound effects and other sounds that are easy to source and download. There are 2 whole libraries of free and royalty free sound effects and general sounds that can be downloaded in either wav or mp3 format.
