The resources in this section are ideal for creating shorter projects in the classroom. Each digital tool below also offers a range of additional features for inclusion in your presentation, including narration, music, sound effects, text, overlays, filters, transitions, etc.

Adobe Spark Video: iOS and Android, incl Website (Free)

This is a very popular digital tool that allows the user to create professional looking video presentations. Having signed up for a free Adobe account, you will have access to Adobe Spark Video, Page & Post- 3 great apps. I find learners really enjoy creating presentations with Spark Video as it's very intuitive and allows them to integrate media on each slide. They can import photos and videos, include text and icons and add narration to their piece. This tool can be used right across the curriculum to showcase learning in any subject area.

Vont: iOS Users (Free)

Put quite simply, Vont is an app that allows the user to put text on videos, using a variety of fonts. Just chose the section of video you want the text to appear on and select your preferred format. The finished piece looks great and can be shared as per normal.

Clips: iOS Users (Free)

Clips is a free app that allows users to create short creative videos. You can choose to include a range of features in your piece, such as animated live text (uses voice recognition to add live subtitles to the video), artistic filters, music and movie-based stickers. Ideal for short, snappy projects such as recording a report, animating a geographical feature or retelling a historical event, to name but a few classroom-based possibilities.
